d&b Audiotechnik KSL Line Array
We’ve been keeping a HUGE secret, but now we are ready to tell you because this is way too important...and EPIC! We are proud to announce that VIP Production Northwest just took delivery of the FIRST d&b Audiotechnik KSL Line Array in the Pacific Northwest (excluding Canada).
The SL-Series from d&b is the state-of-the-art line array system in the audio industry. Its technology, feature set, and rider friendliness are unmatched. With this system, we can provide the highest level of world-class audio in any venue in the area.
Consistent with D&B's philosophy of "More Art, Less Noise," the array boxes include technology that dramatically improves pattern control by passively canceling sound outside of the coverage area so you only get sound where it's meant to go. That drastically reduces feedback potential and bounce within a room.
Speaking of pattern control, all of our new subs are cardioid, which means the low frequencies go mostly into the audience with minimal wash back on stage. Usually you'd need another amp channel and more speakers to make that happen, but these accomplish it just with components in each speaker box, and some without using another amp channel. You have to experience this to fully appreciate it!
Some of the subs use three 21" drivers for earth shaking lows (perfect for dubstep) but still make the kick drum reach out and punch you in the chest.
We also didn't skimp on amplification, which means we can utilize D&B's Array Processing, which fine tunes the coverage of the array cells within the room to better control where the energy goes and elevate audience experience.
